David Craven is a real estate Broker with RE/MAX Mountain Realty who started in real estate in 1985 as a real estate investor. Originally his real estate investments included buying, improving, managing, and selling a variety of properties including residential, commercial, houses, apartment buildings, vacant land, and office buildings. He is the owner, designer, and builder of a beautiful Appalachian style log home in Waynesville, N.C. where he and his wife Michele reside. Their family has been involved in several new home developments in Haywood County over the past twenty years.

In 1998 David Craven's career extended to full time real estate sales. David's broad experience and uncompromised pursuit of excellence in serving people with their real estate needs has allowed him to have a very successful and rewarding career. David is also a log home enthusiast and loves to share his knowledge of log home design and building with others. A native of Kentucky, he also earned the Bachelor of Business Administration at Eastern Kentucky University. 

David and his family have supported children from other countries for several years and have been actively involved in various ministries over the years . Wherever he goes, he gives. Currently he gives back to his community by sawing, splitting, and delivering wood to the elderly so they can keep warm for the winter, works with C.A.R.E., and is an adult Sunday school teacher.

David and his wife, Michele, have a daughter Katie and a grandaughter named Addison Grace. They appreciate the blessings of their life in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. David loves working with buyers and sellers in this little corner of the world and continues to exceed their expectations.
